This is a beautiful park, with lots of mature trees and all the amenities, but still overpriced, in my opinion. Customer service was indifferent at best, and most often surly. The internet connection was weak and intermittent, and there is no one on staff who knew anything about it. We were told to call Tengointernet for help when the problem was actually with the equipment on site. Very frustrating, since we run our business online. When we decided to leave two days early, to find a place that actually did have reliable internet, we were told that we would not get a refund for the cancelled nights. Instead, we had to take out the balance in their meager store, in order not to lose $120. Needless to say, we will not stay there again!

I can't give this place a rating of 10, only because it's a little bit on the funky side. But if you don't care about the frills, this is a terrific little place. We had a beautiful, shaded spot, right on the Colorado River, which was a most welcome surprise after a long day of desert driving. Fender's is nothing fancy, but it's friendly, in a beautiful spot, and the price is right.

Run away! Run away! This dirty little dust bowl was like camping in a gravel pit, surrounded by a neighborhood of falling-down shacks and barking dogs. Honestly, except for the possibility of late-night bar fights, you'd be better off stay at the "park" (read: parking lot) behind the local casino. If at all possible, bypass Tonopah altogether!
